Sunny Deol to play lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari’s epic ‘Ramayana’- Check details here 

Nitesh Tiwari is gearing up for his magnum opus Ramayana. The film is highly anticipated by the audience and they are eagerly awaiting more updates about the film. The movie features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in key roles.

According to a recent report, it has been known that the filmmaker Nitesh is currently in talks with Sunny Deol for the role of lord Hanuman. Ever since the initial announcement of the film, rumours have been buzzing over the internet about the star cast for Ramayana.

However, as per a report by Pinkvilla, it is confirmed that Sunny Deol will play the role of lord Hanuman in the epic drama. The actor is quite excited to play a significant role in the renowned Ramayana script. He is grateful for having been offered the opportunity to play such a divine role, as Hanuman is the epitome of strength.

The shooting for Ramayana: Part One will begin in March 2023. Sunny Deol will begin shooting in May as he has a guest appearance in the film. The story will be continued further in other parts of the film, wherein Sunny Deol will have a longer runtime on screen.

Ramayana is helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of lord Ram while Sai Pallavi will essay the role of Maa Sita and Yash will play Ravana. Lara Dutta has been roped in for the part of Kaikeyi. Earlier, it was also been reported that Vijay Sethupathi is in talks for the role of Ravana’s brother Vibhishana’s role.
