Subhash Ghai shares an interesting fact about Dilip Kumar

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai tweeted and shared an interesting fact about the only advertisement in which Dilip Kumar was seen.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai worked with the late actor Dilip Kumar in the movie, ‘Karma’. He revealed an interesting fact about Dilip Kumar through his recent tweet. Subhash Ghai shared the only advertisement which Dilip Kumar had endorsed in his lifetime. He even said that the actor hadn’t charged a single penny for the advertisement.

Subhash Ghai shared an advertisement of a chili pickle and wrote, “Dilip Kumar stood by his friends always .. in his entire career he never did any endorsements, the only exception being Baburao Patel, the editor of Film India magazine, who was also into naturopathy. He endorsed his product free of any charge as Friend.”

Earlier, he had tweeted about his demise and said that it was the ‘saddest day’ of his life.  Sharing the incident when he got to know about Dilip Kumar’s demise, he wrote, “Last morn I was getting ready to go to the shooting of our new film #36 farmhouse as a producer-writer I got a msg #DILIP KUMAR DEPARTED N media calls started ringing I cud not pick up one I controlled my emotions-sent a voice msg n left for Mumbai 4 my most favorite idol.”

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar took his last breath on July 7 in Mumbai, at the age of 98. The actor was buried at Juhu Qabristaan with due state honors. Dilip Kumar was seen in several iconic movies of the 50s and 60s like, Mughal -E- Azam, Madhumati, Devdas, Naya Daur, and many more. He was last seen in the movie, Qila, released in 1998.
