In just a span of 11 days, the movie has surpassed Rs. 500 crore worldwide and is continuing to shatter records at box office. Amidst the celebration, there has been an online debate over who is to credit for this success – Rajkummar or Shraddha?
Meanwhile, some feel that credit should come more for the performances of Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. Now, Aparshakti has seemingly taken a dig at a heavy PR machinery being into play behind Shraddha being hailed as the main reason for Stree 2’s success. This is definitely not going to sit well with Shraddha’s fans, who have brutally started trolling the actor.
Speaking about the same in an interview with Zoom, Aparshakti was asked that many feel that Shraddha is the main reason behind the success of Stree 2, he quickly called the statement a PR tactic. In fact, the Dangal actor added that some of them might be good at singing, dancing, and acting but what the other set of ability does well is doing ‘PR’.
The fans of Shraddha Kapoor started trolling Aparshakti brutally when the clip of his interview went viral. One of the netizens said, “Jealous fellow. Ek success Milti Hain, Dimag Kharab Ho Jata Hai. Shraddha is a more popular star than the entire Stree 2 star cast and that’s a fact.” Another user said, “People on ground level credit her for the success and say they went to watch it for her only. Oh, but trust me, she did PR, she’s a credit stealer, she’s this, she’s that! Shut Up.” A netizen replied, “This guy is such a loser”.
Looks like Aparshakti Khurana’s recent statements haven’t gone down well with Shraddha’s fans.
