Stree 2 has started hitting the headlines with its star cast, Shraddha Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao. The story and the plot is surely interesting, but the battle for Stree 2 credit has only got intense. The film’s actor, Aparshakti Khurana has mocked the PR game. This has raised several eyebrows right since the day the horror comedy came out on August 15.
As per the reports of The Indian Express, the perception credits had been ongoing between the lead stars of Stree 2, which has now become a blockbuster, Rajkummar and Shraddha. Now, fans want to know who should be given bigger credit for winning the hearts of the audiences.
During an interaction with Zoom, Aparshakti was asked about this credit war. A journo claimed that Shraddha has earned more popularity after Stree 2 and also added that she did not get much screen time. He nodded and said that it is a PR game.
Aparshakti further added that if the channel goes and asks the audience, the original audience on the street, if they are saying this, he continued that he does not want to comment on it. He said how much he loves every actor in his film. He is also really attached to them. In such a happy space where the film is getting so much love and success, this can come across as slightly unpleasant.
Stree 2 is helmed by Amar Kaushik and the film grossed over Rs 500 crore at the global box office.
