‘Stay strong’ Aly Goni offers condolences to Shaheer Sheikh as his father dies of Covid-19

Shaheer Sheikh’s father died on Wednesday after suffering from a serious Covid-19 infection.

Kuch Rang Pyar ke aise bhi actor Shaheer Sheikh’s father Shahnawaz Sheikh passed away on Wednesday after enduring a severe Covid-19 infection, earlier his father was kept on a ventilator.

On Wednesday night, Actor Aly Goni gave his condolences on Twitter and asked Shaheer to stay strong. He tweeted, “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (verily we belong to God and verily to him do we return). May Allah rest uncle’s soul in peace bhai @Shaheer_S, stay strong bhai.”

A few days ago, Shaheer had posted a throwback picture of his father and requested everyone to pray for him. He had penned, “My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe covid infection… pls keep him in your prayers.”

Several of his colleagues, fans and friends had tweeted their support to him. Hina Khan had written to him, “Patience my friend, I told you, he will come home healthy and happy very soon.. Inshallah #SendDuaEveryone.”

Shaheer’s latest show trailer also came around the same time. In the second season of Pavitra Rishta Shaheer will return as Manav. The web show also signifies the return of Ankita Lokhande as Archana.  Pavitra Rishta actor shot to fame with the TV show eight year’s ago in Mahabharat, he played the role of Arjun.

In November 2020, Shaheer Sheikh had a registered marriage with Ruchikaa Kapoor. The couple were blessed with a baby girl on 10th September last year. Shaheer periodically shares glimpses of their daughter on his Instagram handle.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shaheer talked about his he went without work for quite some time, “We get paid for the days we work, TV actors are like daily wagers. If we are not shooting for two to six months, it is fine but beyond a point, it does bother you. It becomes tough, especially now that I have responsibilities and stuff. At one point in time, it was a concern for me.” shared Shaheer.
