SpiceJet honours Sonu Sood with special aircraft livery for his work during COVID-19 pandemic

Sonu Sood prepares for his next movie with Akshay Kumar as domestic airlines SpiceJet reward him for his efforts to help the poor during the pandemic times.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has become a hero with his attempts to help lakhs of people stranded across the country to reach their homes. And he has now been awarded by Spice Jet for his “unparalleled contribution and efforts,” with a special Spice Jet aircraft livery. The livery, with an image of Sonu Sood, was recently unveiled wrapped on its Boeing 737 aircraft.

Ajay Singh, Spice Jet MD, said the livery was a “tribute for Sonu’s selfless efforts and to thank him for the outstanding and exemplary work that he has done to help millions during this pandemic.” The actor will be seen next along with Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar in the movie Prithviraj. The period drama, directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, will also have Sanja Dutt playing a key character.
