On March 5, Rhea Kapoor, a stylist and film producer, turned a year older. She received several birthday messages from friends and family. There were two that stuck out among the many nice birthday wishes she received. One was by Sonam Kapoor, the sister, who posted a number of joyful images of the two of them. The other birthday post came from Rhea’s father, Anil Kapoor, who included photographs of Rhea as a little girl with a heartfelt remark.
The actor Sonam Kapoor and her sister Rhea could be seen bonding in a few of the pictures she posted on Instagram. Images from Sonam’s 2018 wedding in Mumbai and Rhea standing with a pregnant Sonam on a London street were also included. Rhea and Sonam spent time with their friends and family in different instances over the years. Another image showed Rhea as a young girl cutting a birthday cake while Sonam and Anil watched.
Sonam wrote, “Happy Happy birthday to my favourite person in the world. My best friend my soulmate. Partners in everything and the best sister duo in the world. Love you my beautiful intelligent sister. I miss being your roommate and living in the same house as you. And I can’t wait for you to come home Rhea Kapoor!”
Rhea was also featured in two Instagram posts by Anil Kapoor, who described her as “fiercely independent” in his captions. A current image of Rhea with the cast of her new film, The Crew, including Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon was shown after an old photograph of Anil hugging Rhea as a young girl.
Anil in the caption wrote, “It’s your time to fly… You are fiercely independent, taking your own decisions… I don’t think you need my arms to take care of you because now you’re ready to take care of your Crew (her upcoming film), your team and your home! I know you will succeed! Wishing you all the luck! Happy birthday Rhea Kapoor!”
