Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have reportedly served a legal notice on YouTube Raginyy for releasing a video in which the content creator roasts the actress for previous tone-deaf statements. These include her financial remarks, her famous conversation with Rajkummar Rao, and her interview with Rajeev Masand.
Raginyy shared a video in response to a legal notice titled “She Who Must Not Be Named” and even posted a screenshot of it. However, Instagram later removed the original screenshot, which had been captioned as “Bro has lost his mind over one video.”
The legal notice highlighted that such malicious actions can potentially destroy the reputations of both Sonam and Anand’s brands as well as individual family members, which they have worked hard to develop.
It went on to say that they are working with their legal team to combat defamatory comments, internet abuse, negative news coverage, and unfavourable reviews about them and their businesses.
On May 8, 2018, Sonam and Anand wedded in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony. In March 2022, the couple excitedly announced the birth of their first child. Vayu, their son, was born on August 20, 2022, in Mumbai.
Sonam recently appeared in the film ‘Blind,’ directed by Shome Makhija, alongside prominent performers such as Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey. This film marks her return to performing after a maternity leave. Sonam has also committed to two new projects in her career.
