While the pictures looked flawless, with Sonakshi donning an off-white saree and Zaheer in white sherwani, it seemed that negativity always finds it way.
The couple were forced to unable the comment section as the netizens slammed the newly wedded with racial slurs. Majority of the negative comments or trolling was directed towards both the bride and the groom coming from different religions.
Earlier, during the anticipation of the marriage, there were rumors that not everything is fine between Sonakshi and her parents – Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha – as she is marrying Zaheer. However, the reports were rubbished by the veteran actor himself with his iconic dialogue “Khamosh!”
