Revealing that Firoz Nadiadwala has still not paid him for his part in Welcome, Snehal Daabbi described, “I haven’t yet been paid. Firoz bhai would just assure ‘Deta hoon paisa, deta hoon paisa, deta hoon paisa’ (I’ll give the money). Hence, I was disillusioned here and was wondering ‘Yeh kaisi industry hai’ (What kind of industry is this?).”

Snehal Daabbi also stated this isn’t the first movie where he didn’t get his pay. He told, “I had acted in a film called Sher, directed by Soham. I had written the film as well. We shot for the film in 50 degrees temperature. We completed 85% of the film. Suddenly, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision (the production house) was shut. Paise hi nahi aaye uss film ke (I never received any money for it). Imagine how it must have felt.”
