The Nightingale of India, veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar was tested Covid positive with mild symptoms two days ago. Lata Ji was also diagnosed with pneumonia infections and was admitted in the ICU of Breach Candy hospital in south Mumbai. She will be kept in hospital for some more days, under doctor’s supervision. The doctors have witnessed improvement in her health.
Dr. Pratit Samdani, who is treating Lata Mangeshkar, said “She is still in the ICU ward but there has been a slight improvement in her health.”
Before this, the veteran was admitted in the same hospital for 28 days when she was diagnosed with pneumonia and suffered from breathing difficulties in November 2019.
