The upcoming dystopian era film Kalki 2898 AD is the recent talk of the town. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and revolves around sci-film theme. The film draws inspiration from Mahabharata and will showcase the events that unfolded in Kali Yug.
Kalki 2898 AD has been buzzing all over the internet. The film comprises of a star studded cast which includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Hassan and Disha Patani in the key roles.
According to recent fan theories and online reports, famous on-screen pair Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur will be having a cameo performance in the film. The actors will be playing the role of Prabhas’s parents. They were recognized and appreciated for their famous role in Sita Ramam. While Vijay Deverakonda and Nani will eassy the role of Arjuna and Krishna, respectively.
Renowned director SS Rajamouli will play the part of Ved Vyasa or Vishwamitra. However, there’s no confirmation to these reports. More such important details regarding the film will be announced in the near future.
Kalki 2898 AD is set agaisnt the backdrop of the Indian epic Mahabharata. It set in the dystopia era with Kasi the only city in existence for survival.
