This Olympic India saw its best-ever performance with 7 medals. It consisted of 1 gold from Neeraj Chopra in Javelin Throw, 2 silver from Mirabai Chanu in weight lifting and Ravi Dahiya in wrestling and 4 bronze from PV Sindhu in Badminton, Bajrang Punia in wrestling, Indian Men’s Hockey Team and Lovlina Borgohain in Boxing. However, it was Mirabai Chanu from Manipur who opened the account for India with her silver medal. She won a silver in women’s 49kg weightlifting on the first day of the Tokyo Olympics. The country was overjoyed with her achievement and Prime minister Narendra Modi also congratulate her on Twitter.
But currently, she is busy meeting her favourite celebrities in Mumbai. Recently she met her favourite actor, none other than, Bollywood megastar Salman Khan in Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai.
Salman Khan shared a photo on Instagram where he can be seen wearing a white shawl gifted him by Mirabai Chanu seems overjoyed. The post was captioned, “Happy for u silver medalist @mirabai_chanu .. lovely meeting with u … best wishes always!”

But her celeb meeting didn’t stop with Salman Khan she also met the god of cricket Sachin Tendulkar. She wrote on Twitter, “Loved meeting @sachintendulkar Sir this morning! His words of wisdom & motivation shall always stay with me. Really inspired.”
In reply Sachin shared a photo with her on Twitter, he wrote, “Equally happy to meet you this morning, @mirabai_chanu! It was wonderful talking to you about your inspiring journey from Manipur to Tokyo. You’ve got places to go in the coming years, keep working hard.”
