Shraddha Kapoor admits of being frightened by her own character in Stree 2

Shraddha Kapoor recently opened up on being terrified of her own character in the movie Stree 2, which is a sequel to the 2018 horror- comedy film Stree. The movie hit the theatres on this Independence Day and has been creating waves at the box office.

Shraddha, who has reprised her role alongside Rajkummar Rao, has opened up on her childhood experiences that shaped her relationship with horror.

In an interview with The Lallantop, the actress admitted of being genuinely frightened by her portrayal in Stree 2. She noted that when her character undergoes a transformation, she instinctively covers her face and ears while watching herself on the big screen.

She added that she specifically avoids watching horror films, and would stick to horror-comedies such as Stree 2. However, she did mention that owing to a compelling script, she might be interested into participating in a more traditional horror film.

The movie opened up with whopping Rs. 75 crore on day one and reached Rs. 90 crore in two days.
