Shekhar Suman backs down from ‘Justice for Sushant Singh Rajput’ movement; tweets family is silent on this matter and feels ‘uncomfortable’ over it

On Wednesday, TV actor and host Shekhar Suman tweeted that he will be backing down from Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide matter since his family has been remained silent on it. He felt uncomfortable over it.

Shekhar Suman was recently seen working towards the investigation and fighting to seek justice for the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who had committed suicide on June 14. He had also launched a forum called ‘Justice for Sushant Singh Rajput’ and millions of people had supported this initiative. According to the Mumbai Police, the actor had committed suicide, but on the other hand, Shekhar claimed that there are much more things which are not been looked upon and suggested that there is more to his death than meets the eye. Last Wednesday he had tweeted that MP Subramanian Swamy has written an official letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting him to put a CBI enquiry on Sushant’s death. He said it was finally a ‘reason for all of us to be happy a wee bit’

However, on July 15, Shekhar Suman announced that he is backing down from this movement on his twitter handle. He has now decided to take a backseat. In a series of tweets, he told that Sushant’s family has continuously been silent an all of this matter, thus he is feeling ‘uncomfortable’ over it. He also urged the late actor’s fans to pray for his family and wish the best for him.

Suman tweets, “Dear all,Thank you for making my voice strong all this while.Allow me to plz take a backseat now.since the family is completely silent on this,it’s making me very uncomfortable to go on.i guess its their prerogative and we all shld respect that. Whether our efforts bear fruit im not sure but we were able to show the world the strength of our collectivity ,unity and togetherness. That we were able to on the sheer dint of our persistence and conviction, shake the system and forced them to pay heed to us.”
