Sharvari Wagh is currently shooting for Alpha with Alia Bhatt. She is too busy basking in the success of her recent films Munjya, Maharaj and Vedaa. The actress made her debut in Kabir Khan’s The Forgotten Army: Azaadi Ke Liye but before that she was an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. She recently confessed that she was also lined up to make her debut with Bhansali and “got shortlisted for the same, but the project didn’t materialise due to technical reasons.”

In an interview with News18 Showsha, she opens up that when she had gone in to audition for a film produced by this filmmaker, she made it as an assistant director for the Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone starrer. Talking about it, she says, “We did a couple of workshops and then there was a bit of pause on that film because of some technical reasons. They had to figure something out and rework on the script.”

She claimed then that she had asked if she could help them. She said that Bajirao Mastani was also in production, and she wanted to do internship on that film. They agreed with her and were more than happy to offer her a chance.
