Sharvari Wagh is currently busy shooting for Alpha, where she shares the screen space with Alia Bhatt, and has been giving fans quite a few behind-the-scenes peeks from their shoot in Kashmir. She looks back at her debut alongside Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan in Bunty Aur Babli 2 and reveals being nervous at their first meeting. “Me and Siddhant thought the first meeting was fun and casual,” she recalled.
In a recent interview with News 18, she stated, “I was very nervous actually because Rani ma’am is someone I’ve always looked up to. As a child, I used to watch her films in theaters, come back home, and reenact her scenes and songs.” As far as she believes, this actress has been the inspiration for getting into acting, making the first meeting quite a memorable one in her life. But Rani’s warmth soon made her comfortable, and the nervousness dissipated in a trice.
Was Rani Mukerji intimidating at any point? According to Sharvari, that was definitely not the case. She said that although Rani is a superstar, she had been warm and friendly. When Sharvari used to be growing up, Rani was someone she always admired, so this experience of meeting her was something of a thrilling moment.
