Just yesterday, Shahid Kapoor shared a selfie all the way from Goa with the director duo Raj & DK and hinted about kickstarting an untitled web series with them. The actor took his social media to introduce his co-star Raashi Khanna.
The actor took his Instagram and wrote, “It’s taking off…. These bad boys got a hard vibe and a dark plan…@rajanddk.” The director duo reposted the selfie on their Instagram story with the caption stating, “Badder Boy.”
The show will reportedly stream on Amazon Prime Video and Shahid would make his digital debut with this series. A source close to Peepingmoon revealed, “Raj & DK’s show with Shahid has been titled Sunny. It’s an explosive action-thriller with their usual quirks infused in it. Planned as a two-season project, this series will see Shahid in the titular role, performing some acutely designed daredevil action sequences. He is excited to dive into the quirk world of Raj & DK and will fly off to Goa today to join them.”
It also being said that the director duo has roped in some popular South Indian actors to give the show a pan-India stage that will attract audience around the globe. Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi has been roped for a pivotal role in the series. Actress Raashi Khanna will star opposite Shahid Kapoor and director Amole Gupta will also play a pivotal role.
