Shahid Kapoor thanks Uttarakhand Govt for their support in the shoot of ‘Jersey’

Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, has wrapped up its Uttarakhand schedule. The actor took to Twitter to thank the government in helping them do so.

Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur will be seen next in the upcoming sports drama ‘Jersey’. The shoot, which had come into a sudden halt due to the pandemic, was resumed again a few weeks back. Shahid Kapoor has now tweeted to announce the wrap up of the Uttarakhand schedule and has even thanked the government in helping them so.

The shoot of Jersey had begun a few weeks back and the production had to be conducted under the specific guidelines put by the government because of the viral infection. They also helped the team official interventions whenever it eas deemed necessary. Shahid Kapoor took to Twitter to write, “It’s a wrap on this schedule of #Jersey. I would like to thank the Govt of Uttarakhand for supporting and putting in place efficient policies that enabled us to safely shoot and wrap the schedule of our film in the many beautiful locations of the state.”

Jersey is the remake of the Telegu movie of the same name. Gowtam Tinnanauri, who had directed the original movie, is making the remake as well.
