Sara Ali Khan recently opened up over being slapped with a legal notice for her debut movie by the producer himself.

In a interaction with Mid Day, the actress shared the producers of Kedarnath had sued her and they had a reason for it. “2018 May, I was supposed to do Simmba. Kedarnath was the first film I signed. It was all good. Then some dates went up and down. And I also signed Simmba. But now there were 3-4 dates that were coinciding. And I got sued for Rs. 5 crore. I have very nervous because I didn’t have Rs. 5 crore,” she recalled.

Sara added that it was a very tough situation for her since none of her family was around, since her brother Ibrahim was in school and her mother Amrita Singh was in Delhi, and her maternal grandfather was dying.

She continued, “Rohit (Shetty) sir and (Abhishek Kapoor) met and they only wanted three days and Rohit sir said Le lo. It was done but it was a bit tricky.”

Meanwhile on the work front, the actress will be soon seen opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in action comedy. She also has Metro.. In Dino, in her kitty, which features Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, and Konkana Sen Sharma.
