Sara Ali Khan opened up on her experience of attending the lavish pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar. In a light hearted tone, the actress mentioned the abundance present of gold and diamonds, labelling the event a ‘warm’ affair, in a conversation to Mid Day.
Upon being asked how it was to attend the pre-wedding celebration held in Jamnagar in March, the actress joked, “They would serve us gold. Like, with out roti, we were eating gold. I swear, and there were diamonds everywhere.”
She later clarified, “It was nice, lovely, warm, hospitable event. I have gone to school with Anant, I have known Radhika growing up.. It was very warm. The entire Ambani family… are so warm and welcoming.”
The Ambani family also held another pre-wedding function in Europe as they took their guests on a cruise trip from Italy to south of France. Many of the Bollywood stars, including Sara, were a part of the guest list. The cruise trip went on for three days and each day had a party with different theme.
