On Wednesday, Sanjay Dutt announced on Twitter that he has got the golden visa for the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Sanjay was spotted standing with Major General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) Dubai, in a photo with his passport in hand.

The golden visa, according to Gulf News, is a 10-year resident permit. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, originally announced it for investors and businesspeople in 2019. In 2020, the qualifying criteria will be expanded to include persons with specialised degrees, physicians, scientists, and others.
Sanjay congratulated Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, crown prince of Dubai and head of the Dubai Executive Council, on the birth of twins on Monday.”Congratulations to His Royal Highness Sheikh @HamdanMohammed on welcoming the twins.
