Sanjay Dutt awarded a Golden Visa to the UAE, Read to know what it is

Sanjay Dutt has been granted a golden visa to the United Arab Emirates. The actor announced the news on Twitter.

On Wednesday, Sanjay Dutt announced on Twitter that he has got the golden visa for the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Sanjay was spotted standing with Major General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) Dubai, in a photo with his passport in hand.

“Honoured to have received a golden visa for the UAE in the presence of Major General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of @GDRFADUBAI. Thanking him along with the @uaegov for the honour. Also grateful to Mr. Hamad Obaidalla, COO of @flydubai for his support,” he tweeted.

The golden visa, according to Gulf News, is a 10-year resident permit. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, originally announced it for investors and businesspeople in 2019. In 2020, the qualifying criteria will be expanded to include persons with specialised degrees, physicians, scientists, and others.

Sanjay congratulated Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, crown prince of Dubai and head of the Dubai Executive Council, on the birth of twins on Monday.”Congratulations to His Royal Highness Sheikh @HamdanMohammed on welcoming the twins. I wish them all the love, luck and happiness in the world,” he tweeted.

The actor has also been in the press for his projects. He was most recently seen in Alia Bhatt’s Sadak 2. He is working on a few projects. Shamshera with Ranbir Kapoor and K.G.F Chapter 2 are included.
