The Family Man 2, starring Manoj Bajpayee, is due to hit theatres this summer. Along with viewers, the cast of the web series is eagerly awaiting its publication. Samantha Akkineni, who will be making her streaming debut with the show, has now urged the creators to unleash the show as soon as possible. Samantha recently took to Instagram to discuss the film Cinema Bandi, which is made by Raj and DK, the creators of Family Man 2. Though congratulating the filmmakers and team on the success of the film, she demanded that their first collaboration, The Family Man 2, be released soon.
She wrote, “#cinemabandi is endearing and so full of hope. Three cheers to the team for bringing us this gem of a film….a breath of fresh air. Congratulations @rajanddk so so happy for you. Now, let’s release #thefamilyman2 (sic).”
Samantha will be seen as an adversary, Raji, who will compete head-on with Manoj Bajpayee aka Srikant in the episode. Samantha’s success in the episode, according to the other cast members, is mind-blowing and will astound the crowd.
According to the most recent sources, the makers have eventually settled on June 11 as the release date for The Family Man 2. The creators will make an announcement shortly.
Twitter recently replied to a Twitter user’s concern about when the second episode of the widely awaited series will be released. Amazon responded to the user by writing, “The Family Man Season 2 will premiere this summer on Amazon Prime Video! Stay tuned for further updates. (sic)”
Earlier, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK shared an official statement that reads, “We know you have been eagerly waiting for the new season of The Family Man. We are truly grateful and humbled by all the love! We have an update for you. The Family Man Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this summer! We have been working super hard to get you a kickass season. And we are pretty sure you will love it. Can’t wait to bring it to you.”
The next season will pick up where the last one left off, in a cliffhanger. The series’ synopsis is as follows: Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) will return in the sequel to fight the chemical attack while balancing his personal and professional lives. He’ll be pitted against a new foe, Raji (Samantha Akkineni). Srikanth would also recognise that Mission Zulfiqar is far from over. After learning what happened between Suchitra (Priyamani) and Arvind (Sharad Kelkar) in the hotel that night, Srikant’s life will be turned upside down. Karim’s girlfriend obtained the recording, which is crucial evidence in supporting Karim’s innocence. When the video goes viral, TASC Srikant will be accused of murdering an innocent person. In the midst of all of this, toxic gases from a chemical plant near Delhi are leaking, as is a toxic gases tanker that is about to explode.
