The title Sam Manekshaw’s biopic starring Vicky Kaushal is revealed on his birth anniversary as ‘Sam Bahadur’. The biopic is being directed by Meghna Gulzar who has given many hit films like Raazi and Chhapaak to the industry.
Vicky Kaushal, the male lead in the film himself announced the name on his Instagram handle. He posted a video which displays many names before the name Sam Bahadur appears on the screen witch a voice over in background saying,” Kai naamo se pukare gaye, ek naam se humare hue.”
The actor captioned the post as,” The man. The legend. The brave heart.

Field Marshal Sam Bahadur was the Chief of Indian Army Staff during the Indo-Pak War of 1971. He was the first Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.
