‘Salman Khan threw a diary at me’ says Sajid Nadiadwala on The Kapil Sharma Show

Film producer Sajid Nadiadwala was seen on the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show in which the producer opened up about an argument he had with Salman Khan back in the day.

Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala were really fond of each other and even today as they have worked on three consecutive hits together, they both worked together on Jeet (1996) and Judwaa (1997). Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega was a romantic comedy that was directed by Raj Kanwar and written by Rumy Jafry. The film featured Salman Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukerji in lead roles.

During the episode on the show, Sajid recalls a verbal argument he had with Salman. During that time Salman was shooting for shah rukh khans Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) but Shajid wanted to start shooting for his film ‘Dil Jo Pyar Karega’, so he went on the set of Kuch Kuch Hot Hai and told Salman that he need the dates immediately before the industry comes to know in the morning that the picture has been shelved, as Shajid wanted to start shooting, To which Salman said that they will start shooting for the movie in five months as his schedule is pretty full, at that time he had four other commitments but Sajid wanted to start the shooting as soon as possible and five-month was a long time.

So, the duo had an argument and out of anger, Salman threw his diary at Sajid saying, ‘See there’s nothing here.’

Sajid then confessed at the show that he took the diary with him and adjusted Salman’s dates. He cancelled a few of his scheduled dates and added his own. Three days later Salman’s boy, Raju, came to collect the actor’s diary as Salman was unable to go to his scheduled shoots without it. “So, with this, my picture was completed within the few dates in three months,” concluded Sajid

There is no bad blood between the actor and the producer.
