Salman Khan house firing case: Shooters escorted out of Mumbai airport amid high security

The 2 shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, will be presented in court later today, and maximum police custody will be requested to collect information from the accused.

The two shooters, who have been named as the accused in the terrible shooting incident outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra, were flown into the city by Mumbai Crime Branch police on Tuesday morning. The culprits were apprehended in Bhuj, Gujarat, on Monday evening.

A heavy police presence can be seen near the Mumbai airport’s exit point in the now-viral videos. The accused are seen being led out of the airport, their faces covered, and rushing into a police van.

Both individuals will appear in court later in the day, and maximum police detention will be requested to collect information from the accused.

Two bike-borne assailants fired several bullets in front of Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra on Sunday morning, approximately 5 a.m., before fleeing. However, they were recognised by CCTV footage and tracked down to Bhuj, Gujarat, where they were apprehended on Monday evening. Foreign firearms, live cartridges, mobile phones, and cash were seized from the defendants, Vikas (Vicky Gupta), 24, and Sagar Pal, 22.

Meanwhile, Anmol Bishnoi, purportedly the brother of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack and even referred to it as a ‘trailer’ in a Facebook post. He threatened Salman with terrible consequences if he didn’t apologise for his role in the famed blackbuck poaching case.

Security surrounding Salman’s home and sets has increased, and while the actor has decided not to postpone his shoots or other business commitments, he will always be accompanied by his Y+ security team.
