Salman Khan house firing case: Arbaaz Khan shares official statement of the incident says, ‘Family is taken aback’

On Monday, Salman Khan’s brother, Arbaaz Khan, broke his silence about the shooting outside his Mumbai home.

Arbaaz Khan, the brother of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, has responded to the gunfire incident that occurred outside Salman’s Mumbai apartment. Arbaaz stated that the family has ‘confidence in the police’ and is cooperating with them during the investigation.

Arbaaz posted a statement on his social media account, saying, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified people on a motorcycle at Galaxy Apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident. Unfortunately, some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be the spokesperson have been making loose statements to the media, saying it is all publicity stunt and the family remains unaffected. This is not true and should not be taken seriously.”

“No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding the incident to the media. At this time, the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police, and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support,” read the complete statement of Khan.

Two individuals on a bike fired four shots outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments home early Sunday before fleeing. The incident prompted an increase in security measures. Salman Khan was present at his home when the shooting took place, according to Mumbai police.

Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of incarcerated criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, took credit for the attack in a social media post hours after the shooting outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments, saying it was simply a ‘trailer’.

Lawrence Bishnoi and wanted gangster Goldie Brar had previously stated multiple times that they intended to assassinate Salman Khan.

Salman Khan got internet threats in March and November of last year, purportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
