Fresh threats were made to Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan, when he was out on his morning walk.
As per the reports, a burqa clad woman threatened the veteran lyricist and writer, using the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The incident came months after a gang fired at Salman Khan’s Bandra house allegedly at the behest of the gangster.
A man and a woman on a bike threatened Salim Khan at Carter Road, Bandra, on Wednesday. The Bandra police have booked two people and are currently tracing them.
Reportedly, the veteran writer was approached by the woman, who said, “Lawrence Bishnoi ko bulau kya (should I call Lawrence Bishnoi).”
The police officials have stated that the incident seems to be a prank.
Lawrence, a dreaded gangster allegedly involved in murder of Sidhu Moosewala, had threatened to kill Salman Khan.
The Mumbai police has invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against at least nine accused, including Bishnoi.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman will be next seen in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sikander, wherein he will be paired opposite Rashmika Mandanna. The movie will also feature Sharman Joshi.
If the reports are to be believed, Salman has been roped in for cameo in Singham Again.
