Rubina Dilaik opens up about her insecurities; she used to think she wasn’t good enough for Abhinav Shukla

Before joining Bigg Boss 14, Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik were contemplating divorce. However, the two grew closer over their time on the show.

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, television performers and actual couple, became fan favorites after appearing on Bigg Boss 14. Mostly on show, they discussed their marital issues and how they were considering divorce. But they gave each other a second chance, moved on with their lives, and emerged stronger.

Rubina told RJ Siddharth Kannan that she and Abhinav “mindfully determined that if we have to give this relationship a shot, we have to give it all.” She stated, “We realised where we were going wrong, where we were focussing only on each other’s shortcomings instead of looking at each other’s beauties. We understood what are the things that trigger us and what are the things we do willfully for each other.”

When questioned if Abhinav ever made her feel uneasy, Rubina rejected it, saying she had her own fears that she was “not good enough” for a man like Abhinav.

She said, “You know you would just find reasons to beat yourself down. You think maybe there are far more beautiful, competent, deserving girls to have a man like him. These insecurities spill in and reflect on how you conduct, behave and react to situations. So, those insecurities… He has never made me feel insecure”.

The Bigg Boss 14 winner recently detailed in a lengthy message how she believes she should have walked out of the program when her spouse Abhinav was ‘unfairly’ evicted.BiBut Abhinav had no reservations about it, referring to Rubina as a “winner” and emphasising how she completed his “war.” On the professional front, Abhinav can presently be seen on Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Rubina has back to the set of her TV show Shakti.
