- Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Actor Karan Mehra was arrested on Monday (May 31) night after his wife, actress Nisha Rawal, filed a complaint against him in Goregaon police station following a brawl. Later, while addressing the media, Nisha spoke about Karan Mehra having an extramarital affair and also accused him of domestic violence.
Nisha finally revealed how he physically abused her while his entire family was at home on the night of May 31, 2021.
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with “BollywoodLife”, Nisha Rawal’s close friend, Rohit Verma has recounted how the couple’s marriage was falling apart since two years. “Let me start, Karan is not a bad guy. He is a good person. But he has changed over the past 18 months. He just seems to be a different person, and not the one I knew. Nisha has spoken about his extramarital affair, we do not know if it has been on since a year.” He further said that Karan Mehra is not a very demonstrative person. “One of the reasons is that Karan is not someone who is very expressive. Nisha is a very emotional girl. She is not much bothered about money but loves the small gestures. He had not been showing her any affection,” Rohit
Rohit Verma shared a picture of Nisha Rawal’s injured face and wrote, “A far cry for help from a friend. Aghast to see my bestie in such a state . What makes a man become a demon in no time ?? My entire being is with my friend in this dark patch of her life .. she must rise up and give it a brave fight. Her pain , agony and harassment is beyond me to describe. Standing by her as a pillar of strength ,we are in this together my friend I hold your hand firmly to make u see the light. Hugs and courage (sic).”
