‘The Sky is Pink’ actor Rohit Saraf said he was ‘smitten’ by Priyanka Chopra during the look test of the film. During a Filmfare interview, he was asked if he was ever smitten by a co-star to which he took Priyanka Chopra’s name as the answer.
Rohit, 24 “Actually, it wasn’t on a set but we were on a shooting floor, we were doing the look test for The Sky Is Pink. I walked on set and I saw Priyanka Chopra and I was like, ‘What just happened?’ Yeah, that was the first time I was smitten by all that she is and more.”
The film is inspired by the life of Aisha Chaudhary, who went onto become a motivational speaker following her being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
On Sunday, Priyanka was celebrating her 39th birthday and to extend her wishes, Rohit captioned a montage of clips from The Sky Is Pink promotions, “Thank you for being you @priyankachopra, here’s to being a fan of the person you are for life!…Happy Birthday!!!!!…Edit- @rohitclips.”
Meanwhile, In 2012, Rohit made his acting debut in the show Best Friends Forever. In 2016, he made his debut with Dear Zindagi. He also appeared in Hichki, The Sky Is Pink and Ludo. He’ll be next seen in the Netflix anthology Feels Like Ishq.
