Robyn Bernard, known for her role in General Hospital, passed away at 64

Robyn Bernard, who starred on General Hospital for several years in the 1980s has passed away at the age of 64.

As per the information available from Riverside County Coroner’s office, the actress’ body was recovered from a field behind a business in San Jacinto, California, during the early Tuesday morning. The cause of death was not immediately available, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate.


Robyn, the older sister of Wings actress Crystal Bernard, was born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas. She landed her first acting role in 1981’s Diva. However, it was in 1984 when she secured a big break as she casted as Terry Brock on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. She played the role of daughter of David Groh’s villanious D.L. Brock for 145 episodes until her exit from the show in 1990. On the show, Terry developed a drinking problem which ultimately affected her character’s music career.

She was last seen in Voices From the High School in 2002, wherein she played the role of psychologist.
