Saroj Khan, legendary choreographer, popularly known as “Masterji”, died today early morning. She was 71. Saroj Khan was admitted to hospital two weeks ago after complaining of difficulty in breathing.
The mandatory Coronavirus test done at the hospital showed a negative result.
Saroj Khan’s nephew Manish Jagwani confirmed news of her death to news agency PTI, “She passed away due to cardiac arrest at around 2:30 am at the hospital”.
She was three-time National Award winner choreographer and has choreographed some of the most iconic and memorable Hindi cinema songs.
Saroj Khan’s last choreographed song was Tabaah Hogaye, featuring Madhuri from Karan Johar’s production Kalank in 2019.
