Richa Chadha has come out in support of Sonakshi Sinha as the latter has been receiving flak for her inter-faith marriage with Zaheer Iqbal.
The actresses were recently seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. While they did not have any scenes together, they accompanied one another at promotional events, which ultimately resulted in an ever lasting bond. Richa was also snapped at Sonakshi’s wedding reception.
Congratulating the actress, Richa wrote, “Dear Sona and Zaheer! I am floored by your simplicity, your commitment to each other and am so damn happy that you dance to your own tune… Love you enough to brave crowds in month 9!… And buri nazar wale tera muh faltoo.”
Richa is married to actor Ali Fazal and the couple is expecting their first child together next month.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Richa was the recipient of applaud for her character Lajjo in Heeramandi. Meanwhile, Ali, as per the reports, will be taking a month long paternal leave to attend his wife and new born kid.
