Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case has taken a shocking turn after the late actor’s father filed an FIR against Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, accusing the actress of abetting the actor’s suicide. In the recent development, DNA reports suggest that the Jalebi actress is likely to file for anticipatory bail today.
The reports of her anticipatory bail started getting out hours after the actress met with her lawyer. Rhea’s lawyer Anandini Fernandes was spotted leaving Chakraborty’s house after a long discussion last night over the issue.
The case registered by Sushant’s father, KK Singh, in Patna registered Rhea under various sections of IPC, including 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 380 (theft in dwelling house), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust), 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 306 (abetment of suicide).
Sushant’s father has accused Rhea of befriending his son last summer, May 2019, with wrong motives. KK Singh also accused the actress of using Sushant’s contacts just to advance in her career. He has also alleged that Rhea was aided by her family in the whole scenario and they were looking to purloin his assets. The most shocking part of the accusations was the Rs 15 crore deposited in a bank account held by the actor which has been transferred now. Reports also suggest Rhea made Sushnat maintain distance from his own family with the motive of leaving him vulnerable and uneasy.
Singh further added that the actress visited Sushant’s home on June 6 and decamped many of his belongings including cash, his laptop, ATM card and other important documents.
