Marathi actor Aashutosh Bhakre committed suicide allegedly by hanging himself in Nanded town in the Marathwada region where he used to live, a police officer said on Wednesday. This tragic incident came to the light when he was seen hanging in his flat in the Ganesh Nagar area in central Maharashtra by his parents. Aashutosh was married to the actress Mayuri Deshmukh who gained a following after her role in the Marathi serial Khulta Kali Khulena.
The reason behind the 32-year-old actor’s suicide is still unknown. The actor worked in Marathi movies like Bhakar and Ichar Tharla Pakka.
The actor was reportedly suffering through depression, a few days back he shared a video on the social media analysing why does a person commit suicide, the police officer said.
The actor’s case has been registered as an accidental death at the Shivaji Nagar Police Station which is more than 500 km from Mumbai.
Aashutosh Bhakre and Mayuri Deshmukh got married on January 21, 2016.
