Ranvir Shorey reveals ‘Bhatt’s’ isolated him personally and professionally

Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide has sparked a debate on nepotism and ‘insider vs outsiders’ in Bollywood. Every actor is now coming forward and speaking about how they have been treated by the big personalities of the film industry. A few days back we saw Ranvir Shorey and Anurag Kashyap exchanging words on Twitter. The Sonchiriya actor had earlier narrated his ordeal on Twitter without taking anyone’s name, the actor stated that he went professional and social isolation in his career, because of the same people who are involved in the current case. According to a Times Of India report, while speaking to a news portal, Ranvir replied positively that he was talking about the Bhatt. The actor also stated that he was called an alcoholic, an abuser and that it became so toxic that he had left the country.

“I don’t take any names ‘cause I have no evidence to prove their complicity! But the reason I speak is, I went through the same professional & social isolation, bad mouthing & lies in the press, and psychological trauma from 2003 to 2005 with the same people who are now involved,” Ranvir had shared in a post.

Mumbai Police have been investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. The police have now recorded statements of over 30 people. Today, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt was also spotted outside the Santacruz police station, where he had arrived to record his official statement.
