One of the best bits came around when, on popular demand, Ramanand Sagar’s blockbuster mythological serial ‘Ramayan’ returned on National Television and grabbed the audience’s attention. The viewers recalled their childhood memories of watching this show back in time when it first got aired in 1987 on Doordarshan. It instantly gained popularity and viewership on its rerun amid lockdown on Doordarshan among other channels.
But now, the makers of the show have announced that the show is set to entertain Telugu audiences and the dubbed version is set to Premiere on 15th June, 5:30pm on weekdays.
The makers took to Twitter and made the official announcement by tweeting, “The classic tale of #Ramayanam by Ramanand Sagar…Starting this June 15th, Mon-Fri at 5:30 PM on @StarMaa.” Not only in Telugu, but Ramayan is also dubbed into other Indian languages like Bengali and Marathi.
