Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which is set to star Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, is creating all the hype possible among the Bollywood fans. The mythological drama is set to release in two parts, and will also feature Sai Pallavi in the role of Goddess Sita and KGF actor Yash. Recently, it has been confirmed by Ranbir that the shooting for first part is completed and will be releasing on Diwali 2026, and the following part will premiere in 2027. It has also been confirmed that actor Ravi Dubey has been roped in to play the role of Laxman for the movie.
Now, another reports about Sunny Deol playing the role of Lord Hanuman have been confirmed. While attending the third edition of SCREEN Live in Mumbai, the Gadar 2 actor confirmed his role in Nitesh’s Ramayana.
Sunny revealed that the project is a huge one because the makers have decided to make it the way Avatar and Planet of the Apes movies were made. He added that all those technicians are a part of it, and the writer and director are very much clear over how they will be presenting the characters.
The actor also talked about the usage of VFX in the film, and said, “To be honest, I’m very sure it’s going to be great and… sure that everybody will love it.”
