The trailer of the romantic drama Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, was launched at a multiplex in Mumbai on Thursday. The event was attended by the film’s cast, Rajkummar, Triptii, Archana Puran Singh, Rakesh Bedi, Mukesh Tiwari, Tiku Talsania and Mubeen Saudagar amongst others.
Rajkummar was in news when asked if he could imagine himself in competition with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. Explaining why he doesn’t see it that way, the Stree 2 actor said, “I have learned a lot from Akshay sir. I grew up watching stars like him. He is our superstar and you don’t compete with your superstar, you love them. I am his fan.”
“I’ve learned so much by watching people like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay sir. They’ll always be my superstars, and I’ll always look up to them,” he added.
Further ahead, he shared that he is so middle class that if Akshay calls him today, he will spring from his seat exclaiming ‘Akshay sir is calling me!. He explained that he just cannot believe that he is in the same business as the people he grew up looking up to.
