Rajkummar Rao is currently celebrating the remarkable success of his latest film Stree 2, which is a sequel to 2018 film Stree. He shares the lead space with Shraddha Kapoor, while Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana stars in pivotal role. The movie has achieved impressive box office figures as it has grossed over Rs. 386 crores in India and surpassed Rs. 500 crore worldwide, in just 11 days of its release.
In a recent interview with News18, Rajkummar expressed his excitement about the film’s success, stating that while they anticipated a positive response due to the love for the first film, the actual numbers exceeded their expectations. He noted that the film’s success is particularly rewarding because it is a content-driven project and expressed gratitude over the same.
“We were sure the the film would get a lot of love because of the love that Stree 1 got. There’s big fan-following for Stree, including me. I am a hug fan of Stree myself. But these numbers are way above our expectations,” said Mr. and Mrs. Mahi actor.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajkummar will be soon seen alongside Triptii Dimri in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
