After an intimate wedding ceremony on July 16, the couple hosted a sangeet ceremony on Saturday evening. Celebrities like Rakhi Sawant, Vikas Gupta, Arshi Khan, Rashmi Desai attended the function along with friends Aly Goni, and Jasmine Bhasin. The couple gave a sizzling performance choreographed by Sumit Khetan.
Disha Parmar wore a blue lehenga and Rahul complimented her with a blue blazer. The couple entered the venue while ‘Tum Hi Ho Bandhu’ from Cocktail was playing in the background.
The bride performed on the song ‘Bahara’, while Rahul grooved on ‘Sweetheart’ from Kedarnath. The couple danced together on ‘Tenu Leke Main Javanga’.
Earlier, Choreographer Sumit told IANS, “I am choreographing Rahul and Disha’s Sangeet and it’s a lot of fun. Rehearsals started a week before. I can obviously not reveal the songs but there are definitely exciting songs from Hindi films. As far as Rahul and Disha are concerned, they both are very bubbly in nature and it’s fun to teach them. Every evening, we have rehearsals.”
Sumit added, “The experience has been positive because both of them are full of life. Rahul is very expressive and Disha is an amazing dancer. I must say they are quick learners. They have been very accommodating and sweet. They don’t have any tantrums and try to understand the options we give them. They are happy to understand as to what we want to teach them and are very comfortable and adjusting. They have really liked my choreography and said that it is catchy and cheerful, which is really encouraging.”
Various fan clubs shared pictures and videos from the function. Legendary singers like Udit Narayan, Daler Mehendi, Suresh Wadkar, and Mika Singh added magic to the function with their melodious voices.
