
YouTube Originals, “Creators for Change”, documentary, starring Michelle Obama along with Prajakta Koli, Liza Koshi and Thembe Mahalaba won the Outstanding Daytime Non- Fiction Special award at Emmy’s 2021.
Prajakta Koli aka mostlysane the Indian YouTube sensation and Netflix wizard extended her tribute to Michelle Obama and was overwhelmed at winning the prestigious award. She conveyed her gratitude to the First Lady of The United States of America to have provided her with a global platform to communicate her opinions and stand out.
Koli was the part of the documentary that spoke about girl education and endowing girls across the borders.
“It will take me a while to believe this,But as soon as I wake up, I am very happy and grateful to hear that our ‘Creators for Change Documentary’ has won a Daytime Emmy. Lots of love to YouTube for giving creators like me a consistent and effective platform for effective communication.” Prajakta said in a statement to news agency ANI.
Prajakta further said, “I am very grateful to Michelle Obama, who gave me the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful project. Also I would like to send a lot of love to Lisa and Thembe. Wow, what a Realisation.”
Prajakta will be next seen in the film ‘Jug Jug Jiyo’ along with Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani.
