However recently the movie once again surfaced in the headlines but this time because of some dating rumours about the cast of the movie.
The lead actor and actresses of ‘ Adipurush’, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon are rumoured to be in a relationship. The dating rumours began just after the teaser launch of Adipurush. According to rumour speculations, the pair are deciding to take their relationship to the next level. On Monday a controversial Film Critic announced that the rumoured couple will get engaged in the Maldives next week via his Twitter handle. He wrote ”BREAKING NEWS: #KritiSanon & #Prabhas will get engaged next week in Maldives!! So Happy for them.”

The tweet spread like wildfire, and netizens showed their disappointment over the claim. Netizens also advised the critic to stop making such unreliable claims. Prabhas’s team reacted to the tweet and rubbished the claim of engagement. The team clarified that Prabhas and Kriti are just friends, and there is no truth in the rumours of their love relationship. Kriti and Prabhas both have denied the relationship rumours, earlier Kriti called the rumours ‘baseless’. On being questioned by the press about the dating rumours, Prabhas answered ” Madam has cleared it already”. The engagement claim by the film critic thus seems like an attention seeking act.
