PepsiCo has appointed actor Ranveer Singh as the new brand ambassador, and along with that they released a video of Ranveer Singh announcing their new summer campaign “Rise Up Baby”. The new campaign targets younger customers, as it prepares for a long summer, which could boost sales of cold drinks. The campaign is a peek into the lifestyles of youth who continues to break old societal norms and redefines what success and happiness means to them.
Ranveer shared the video on his Instagram Handle in collaboration with Pepsi India and wrote, ”Yahan ke hum Sikandar! #PepsiRiseUpBaby”. He also shared photos of him wearing a Pepsi logo jacket, and captioned the photo, “Yeh hi hai right choice, baby! Aha! @pepsiindia Let’s get this party started!”
There is a growing list of Celebrity endorsers for Pepsi, and Ranveer Singh has joined the list. Salman khan join PepsiCo in 2019, and KGF actor Yash also recently joined the brand and became the brand’s new face. There are reports that a popular female actor would be joining Pepsi’s summer campaign “Rise up Baby” soon.
PepsiCo India’s category lead for Pepsi Cola, Saumya Rathore said, “Rise up Baby is a youth movement, and we are bringing it alive in different flavors. So, one flavor is this whole Ranveer explosion, and there’s going to be another burst from a Yash perspective, which is slated for a March-end release.”
