Actor turned politican Payal Ghosh who had earlier accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of inappropriate behavior with her a viral video and took to her Twitter handle to maintain her stance on the same. She had filed an FIR against Anurag Kashyap in the Versova Police Station. She had further questioned the progress of the same and tweeted, “It’s been 4 months and and no action has been taken against #anuragkashyap inspite of me providing evidence. Do I have to die to get the proceedings going?”

She further added,” It’s been a while and @mumbaipolice hasn’t done it’s best. An earnest request. It’s a matter of women and we should be aware of what examples we are setting.”

The actor-politican again took Twitter and addressed the issue of police not taking any legal action against the director-producer. She wrote,”Why so much hypocrisy in #Bollywood, why they are boycotted Nana Patekar, when they are boosting a rapist like Anurag Kashyap. Where will they go after their death? even hell will refuse to keep these liars, hypocrites, opportunists, can’t even say to these beastly people “Go to hell.”
