Actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha are getting married on Sunday in Udaipur. On Saturday, they will take part in the pre-wedding ceremonies. The couple and their respective families arrived in Udaipur on Friday. Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti’s cousin, was among the planned visitors, but the star announced on Saturday morning that she will not be attending.
According to the wedding card that was leaked online, a welcome meal is planned for the guests on Saturday at around 1 p.m. It will be followed by a 90s-themed party, which will start about 7 p.m. The main ceremonies will be held at The Leela Palace, while other festivities, largely on the groom’s side, will be held at The Taj Lake Palace.
Parineeti and Raghav had known each other for quite some time. In May, they got engaged in Delhi. Parineeti had stated in the caption of one of her Instagram pictures about their love journey, “When you know, you know. One breakfast together and I knew – I had met the one. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful, and inspiring. His support, humour, wit, and friendship are pure joy. He is my home.”
Parineeti’s ‘choora’ ceremony, on the other hand, is slated for 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Maharaja Suite, The Leela Palace and has already begun. The theme of the morning ceremony, ‘Adorn with love,’ according to the wedding card that leaked online, would include Parineeti’s family members in attendance.
As the wedding party arrived at The Leela Palace on Friday, the venue lit up with lights and looked stunning.
On Wednesday, the couple hosted a Sufi night in Delhi, and a video from the musical event went viral. The wedding is scheduled on September 24.
