Parineeti Chopra shares her views in the Zomato delivery boy case. She showed her support to the delivery boy and requested Zomato India to publicly report the truth.
This incident has caused a lot of havoc on the social media. According to a Bengaluru-based influencer alleged that a Zomato delivery boy manhandled her and broke her nose. While many took the side of the influencer, on the other hand, many supported the delivery boy.
Parineeti Chopra took to her Twitter and wrote, “Zomato India – PLEASE find and publicly report the truth.. If the gentleman is innocent (and I believe he is), PLEASE help us penalise the woman in question. This is inhuman, shameful and heartbreaking .. Please let me know how I can help.. #ZomatoDeliveryGuy @zomatoin.”

She has also shared a series of stories on Instagram and wrote, “FIND THE TRUTHHH!! If this man has been framed for no reason, the woman who did this NEEDS to pay for his pain!
The Bengaluru based model shared a video of her nose covered in blood.
After the incident, the delivery boy was suspended by Zomato India and it was stated that all his legal expenses, and the medical expenses of the influencer were covered by Zomato India.
Zomato India released a statement that read, “We are in constant touch with Hitesha, covering her medical expenses, and helping her with the proceedings. “We are also in constant touch with Kamaraj, extending all possible support to make sure both sides of the story come to light and that due process is followed in the spirit of fairness.”
In continuation, “Right from the get-go, our topmost priority has been to get to the truth. Towards that we are helping both Hitesha and Kamaraj (our delivery partner) with all the support they need while the investigation is pending. We are also assisting the police in whichever way asked,” added the statement.
