Parineeti Chopra got engaged to the AAP politician Raghav Chadha on the 13th of May at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. Photos from the ceremony were uploaded a few weeks ago and the couple looks extremely adorable in the matching white outfits. The event was attended by some close friends and family members and also had CM Arvind Kejriwal and other politicians.
Recently, a video has been shared and it showcases some glimpses into the ceremony that took place. The film starts with Parineeti’s roka contract for Raghav and she demands that he has to accept all the things that are being mentioned in the contract. Later on, it shows certain clips of the pair with their close ones and enjoying their auspicious day. The actress’s mother also seems to deliver a heartfelt message for her to-be son-in-law, which goes as, “To know that your daughter is actually going to a person, who will look after her better than her father even could. I mean we love you Raghav. Thank you so much, thank you so much for getting an award in London.”
Designer Manish Malhotra was also seen in the video, who had created her engagement outfit and Arvind Kejriwal greeted him. The couple’s roka took place in Gurudwara as per Sikh traditions and later on appeared cutting the cake at the after-party. A few days ago, Raghav had penned down an emotional note for her fiancé and it surely stunned everyone. Fans congratulated the couple on account of the occasion and wished them luck for a new life ahead.
