The Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is trying her luck in politics. After being in the Hindi cinema for over decades the actress is going to work her fame in the political arena. As per reports, Madhuri Dixit will contest Lok Sabha elections from North West Mumbai in 2024.
Recently, the actress has been in touch with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members. She was also spotted with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, BJP leader Ashish Shelar and NCP leader Praful Patel at the Wankhede stadium during the India New Zealand semi-finals match.
It has been known that if the actress will contest elections next year, it will be most probably for North West seat, which is in Shiv Sena’s power. Earlier, there were even reports of her contesting elections from Pune. However, no official statements have been released by the actress or the party about the information at hand.
On the work front, Madhuri Dixit made a super hit comeback with Aaja Nachle in 2007. She also played cameo roles in movies such as Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Bombay Talkies, Gulab Gang, Kalank and many more. The actress even featured in Fame Game and played the role of Anamika Anand. The story of the web series revolves around a famous film actress who goes missing suddenly.
